ARGH!

Funny how I receive more hate on my natural hair from my parents then I have from my predominately white university, my dorm, my workplace, or anywhere else in my life! Everyone else loves my hair but my parents are like “HELL NO!” you look like a “san mama” (means: no mother, like I have no parents to take care of me).

Argh, I just can’t! I couldn’t stand my parents’ constant insults and let my mom straighten my hair and gosh it looks like a flipping wig! Once again I can’t! Why can’t they just accept that I like my natural hair and that it is ME!! Like it was my choice to go natural so why can’t they just accept it! Damn it my hair means so much to my personal development. I want to go back to my dorm now and just cry!
